These terms are a plain-language starting point for using PikaMood. TODO: replace or approve this page through legal review before launch.

Using PikaMood

PikaMood is a companion-style app for personal reflection, mood journaling, tiny notes, gentle reminders, widgets, and optional partner sharing. Use it respectfully, lawfully, and only in ways that honor privacy, consent, and care.

Not medical, therapy, crisis, or emergency care

PikaMood is not a medical, therapy, crisis, or emergency service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, crisis support, emergency support, relationship counseling, or any guarantee that a relationship will improve.

Partner sharing responsibility

Partner sharing is optional. Only share information you are comfortable sharing, and respect your partner's choices, boundaries, and privacy. PikaMood is a shared space, not a way to pressure, monitor, or control another person.

Safe and respectful use

Do not use PikaMood to harass, threaten, shame, or impersonate anyone.
Do not upload or share illegal, harmful, abusive, or privacy-invasive content.
Do not attempt to access another person's account without permission.
Do not interfere with the app, security systems, or service availability.

Mallows

Mallows are tiny optional rewards for caring moments. Core app features should not depend on Mallows, and Mallows should never be treated as proof of care, relationship value, cash value, or a required payment.

TODO: add reviewed language for any future paid items, subscriptions, refunds, taxes, regional consumer rights, or app-store purchase terms if launched.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method and device secure. PikaMood may support Apple, Google, and email/password sign-in. TODO: add final account eligibility, suspension, termination, and data-retention language after review.

Changes

We may update these terms as PikaMood changes. TODO: add notice process, effective date rules, governing law, and dispute resolution language after legal review.
