PikaMood is designed around choice, privacy, and small caring moments. Your personal account space is private, partner sharing is optional, and shared moments should be clear and intentional.

What PikaMood is

PikaMood is a companion-style app for mood check-ins, tiny notes, mood history, widgets, reminders, and optional partner sharing. PikaMood is not a medical, therapy, crisis, or emergency service.

Information you may provide

Account details used for sign-in with Apple, Google, or email/password.
Mood entries, feeling selections, intensity, weather, context, and optional notes.
Shared Vibe items such as partner status updates, hugs, private notes, partner needs, daily questions, rituals, and care reminders.
Listening or music status that you manually share, including artwork from Apple iTunes Search when available.
Notification preferences, widget preferences, App Lock settings, and privacy center requests.
Support messages you send to support@pikamood.com.

How information is used

We use information to operate the app, show your own check-ins and notes, support optional partner sharing, deliver reminders you choose, respond to support requests, and process export or deletion requests.

Optional partner sharing

Your private notes and check-ins should stay private unless you choose to share. When you share with a partner, that person may be able to see the shared mood context, status, note, partner need, or care action you selected.

App Lock, widgets, and notifications

App Lock with Face ID/passcode is intended to protect access on your device. Widgets and notifications can show selected mood or partner context on your device, depending on the settings you choose and the permissions you grant.

Service providers

TODO: confirm production backend providers before launch. If Firebase Authentication, database, storage, analytics, or crash reporting are used, list the exact Firebase services here and explain what each service processes. If other providers are used, list them here instead.

Analytics and crash reporting

TODO: confirm whether analytics or crash reporting is enabled, what events are collected, whether any provider receives identifiers, and how users can control collection where required.

Data export and deletion

PikaMood includes a privacy center flow for data export and account deletion requests. You can also contact support@pikamood.com if you cannot access the app.
